Pepsi IPL is one of the best T20 tournament in the world because it has produced the best matches in the world and some of the most amazing moments in the history of world cricket. Some of the moments are really appreciable and even more enjoyable but the man who is producing some of the best entertaining moments in IPL from the last 3 years is CHRIS GAYLE!!! this man, bought by RCB in 2011 as a replacement for Dirk Nannes in IPL-4 changed the fortunes of Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL-4 and became the genuine match-winner for RCB.He has so far scored 150+ sixes ,4 Centuries(all of them playing in RCB) in IPL and the best hundred is the fastest one which came today in just 30 balls!!!This Hundred of Gayle which is termed as the FASTEST HUNDRED IN THE HISTORY OF T20 CRICKET ended finally at 175 NOT OUT in just 66 BALLS consisted of 17 sixes(Highest by any player in an innings in T20 cricket) & 13 Fours with a strike rate of 265.15!!!It was very much astonishing to note that in this innings Gayle played 15 dot balls while he has hit 17 sixes!!!Many records were set in this match, some of them mentioned up here!!He has gone past Brendon McCullum's score of 158 in 73 balls & replaced it with his career best 175 of 66 balls to become the highest scorer in an innings by a player in IPL!one of the six hit by Gayle which nearly sailed out of the stadium travelling 119 metre was termed as the longest six in the history of IPL!With his 175 NOT OUT ,RCB posted a mammoth 263/5 which helped them to break the record of the highest team score in the history of T20 cricket, previous best was 260/6 by Sri Lanka! His hundred in 30 balls was the fastest ever in T20 cricket!!His score of 175 is termed as the highest individual score in the history of T20!!This was a day never to forget especially for an RCB fan & also for t20 lovers. So many records constructed in just one and half hour!!!these many records were very much hard to imagine without CHRIS GAYLE!It was a total destruction by this man in the wonderful stadium of Chinnaswamy in Bangalore!!!An amazing T20 player & a fact that all of the cricket lovers agree is that wherever he plays, whenever he plays, for whichever team he plays its VERY MUCH ENJOYING TO WATCH HIM PLAY!!!A TRUE ENTERTAINER & an AWESOME PERSON has really changed the course of the tournament for RCB & many other teams in number of occasions!!We hope that this continues in near future also!!!

Bollywood actresses Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone, and Sandalwood film stars Ramya and Puneeth Rajkumar are the brand ambassadors of the team.RCB were the finalist of the 2009 & 2011 IPL tournament and were also the finalist of 2011 CLT20 but missed by an inch to be crowned as the champions!!!

Kolkata Knight Riders: quality proposition but some holes to plug. Largely in keeping with the rejoicing fact that they are the defending champions, Kolkata Knight Riders have retained all but 4 of their players for the 2013 edition. Yet, one wonders if the formula that helped them win in 2012 will hold true this time too.
Kolkata Knight Riders, winners of the 2012 edition of the tournament, will commence their quest to retain the title, on home turf. They will take on Delhi Daredevils in the IPL 2013 inaugural clash of the competition at the Eden Gardens, on 3 April 2013.

The franchise was eventually named the Mumbai Indians. The RIL bid made the Mumbai Indians the most expensive franchise in the 2007 IPL auction till 2010 edition. Kings XI Punjab

King XI Punjab : Half-baked and frayed at the edges. There is a feeling that Kings Xi Punjab plays IPL only for entertainment and a spread of litmus tests. They have always been short on strategies and high on enthusiasm. The first owners of the franchise included Preity Zinta, Karan Paul (Apeejay Surendera Group) and Mohit Burman. The group paid a total of $76 million to acquire the franchise. On 10 October 2010 the franchise agreement of Kings eleven was terminated by the IPL committee along with Rajasthan Royals due to their disputes. But they were brought back

Rajasthan Royals

Rajasthan Royals: A listless team with some definite promise. Rajasthan seem to be on a quest that is analogous to Jack Sparrow’s in the Caribbean series of movies. They won the inaugural IPL, and since then locked the recipe for success in a lumber room and are still looking for keys. Absence of the talismanic Shane Warne who doubled up as mentor hits them hugely. The Group acquired the franchise for $67 million. Incidentally, this was the least expensive franchise in the Indian Premier League and probably the least fancied team in the league at the beginning of the tournament. Bollywood actress and Celebrity Big Brother winner Shilpa Shetty and her business partner (now husband) Raj Kundra paid approximately US $15.4 million for a 11.7% stake before the start of IPL 2 in early 2009, therefore valuing the team at $130 million. It made a pre-tax profit of $7.5 million in 2009.

CRICKET:Pepsi Indian Premier League 2013 Schedule!!!

IPL Schedule 2013 cricket Tournament will start on Apr 3, 2013 in India. The last match of the tournament will be held on May 26, 2013

The Indian Premier League, or as some would like to address it as the Cricket Carnival is back in the subcontinent and is in tremendous flow with a lot of new exciting surprises keeping viewers hooked to their TV sets. There was much ado about the IPL schedule before the start of the event with critics complaining about too much of cricket being played which can fatigue players in the long run. The short version of the game has added a lot of color to cricket itself especially after the involvement of Bollywood superstars in the event. The IPL fixture was declared back in the month of January after the auction held at Bangalore. The IPL time table is considered to be a lot more hyped than other tournament time tables owing to the fact that cricket crazy India always tends to promise a better turn out at the stadiums than any other countries in the world. The indian premier league schedule has been carefully designed to ensure optimum crowd turnout and the months of April-May are considered to be the time of the year when cricket in India is played at its best.

As to what a lot may oppose regarding the busy indian premier league fixtures that has kept the veterans in the hunt still going strong; it does not really spoil the game of cricket but also encourages a lot of talented youngsters to play with conviction. The indian premier league time table this year is hands down devoid of controversies though unlike that of the 4th edition of the league where the IPLT20 schedule was prepared and started just after 4 days from the last match of the ICC Cricket World Cup.
