CRICKET:Pepsi Indian Premier League 2013 Schedule!!!

IPL Schedule 2013 cricket Tournament will start on Apr 3, 2013 in India. The last match of the tournament will be held on May 26, 2013

The Indian Premier League, or as some would like to address it as the Cricket Carnival is back in the subcontinent and is in tremendous flow with a lot of new exciting surprises keeping viewers hooked to their TV sets. There was much ado about the IPL schedule before the start of the event with critics complaining about too much of cricket being played which can fatigue players in the long run. The short version of the game has added a lot of color to cricket itself especially after the involvement of Bollywood superstars in the event. The IPL fixture was declared back in the month of January after the auction held at Bangalore. The IPL time table is considered to be a lot more hyped than other tournament time tables owing to the fact that cricket crazy India always tends to promise a better turn out at the stadiums than any other countries in the world. The indian premier league schedule has been carefully designed to ensure optimum crowd turnout and the months of April-May are considered to be the time of the year when cricket in India is played at its best.

As to what a lot may oppose regarding the busy indian premier league fixtures that has kept the veterans in the hunt still going strong; it does not really spoil the game of cricket but also encourages a lot of talented youngsters to play with conviction. The indian premier league time table this year is hands down devoid of controversies though unlike that of the 4th edition of the league where the IPLT20 schedule was prepared and started just after 4 days from the last match of the ICC Cricket World Cup.

TECH:XOLO announces Intel Atom Z240-powered X1000 for Rs 19,999

After days of teasing, XOLO has finally made official its next smartphone powered by an Intel CPU. The X1000 was unveiled in Goa and has hit online stores for Rs 19,999.

Contrary to our suspicions, the X1000 does not have the newly-announced Clover Trail+ series of CPUs. Instead XOLO has decided to go with Intel Atom Z240 CPU, clocked at 2GHz and which comes with Intel’s Hyper Threading technology for faster performance. The phone has a PowerVR SGX540 GPU with a clock speed of 400MHz and there’s 1GB of RAM as well. We can’t wait to put this processor through its paces.

The X1000 has a 4.7-inch, 720p display and an 8-megapixel camera

Software-wise, the X1000 will ship with Android 4.0.4, which is a bitter disappointment as 4.1 Jelly Bean would have greatly improved the performance of the phone and would have given users the goodness of Google Now. However, we should see a fairly stock UI experience with minor customisations. In any case, the Intel processor should ideally smooth out any creases in the user experience.

The phone is designed using a unibody construction technique and the back of the device features a special Black Silver colour with what XOLO calls a "luxuriant finish". The 4.7-inch display and a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution translate to a pixel density of around 312 ppi. The display type is TFT LCD, most likely manufactured by Japan Display Inc. There's a 2.5D effect created by the edge-to-edge curved glass. Internal storage is 8GB with space for expansion up to 32GB through microSD cards.

There’s an 8-megapixel rear camera capable of 1080p video recording. The camera comes with different modes such as Sports, Portrait, Night mode and Fireworks, which automatically adjust settings to present users with the best camera settings. Burst mode support has also been included. The camera comes with touch focus enabled and there’s an LED flash to help in low-light situations. On the front, there’s a 1.3-megapixel camera, which should be enough for self-shots and video calls. There is support for HSPA+ networks, so download speed is capped off at 21Mbps and upload speed is limited to 5.7Mbps.

Interestingly, the X1000 is packed with sensors to improve the user experience. There’s an Ambient Light Sensor, a Magnetometer, an Accelerometer, a Proximity Sensor and a Gyroscope – an impressive collection indeed.

Here are the key specs of the XOLO X1000 once again:

*4.7-inch TFT LCD with a resolution of 1280 x 720
*HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE
*Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with Wi-Fi hotspot
*Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and EDR
*GPS with A-GPS support
*8-megapixel primary camera with LED flash and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera
*8GB of internal storage with microSD card slot (up to 32GB)

Worryingly, there’s only a 1900 mAh battery included with the phone, which is good enough for most processors but could come up short when teamed with the power-hungry Intel Z240 processor.

ACHIEVEMENTS:Seven-year-old Aaryan becomes youngest to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro!!!

NEW DELHI: Seven-year-old Aaryan Balaji has added another record to his name by becoming youngest mountaineer to climb Africa's highest peak, Mt. Kilimanjaro (5895 metres/ 19343 feet).

His young age notwithstanding, he created adventure history by climbing Mt Kilimanjaro on February 25 this year.

Aaryan made the nation proud by unfurling the tricolour at the frontier of adventure activity that challenges the human spirit of courage and survival.

Young Aaryan, the son of an Indian Navy officer, is the youngest ever in the world to have trekked all the way to Africa's highest mountain.

In the process, the seven-year-old defied his age to display his adaptability to the highest standards of physical fitness, mental and moral strength, determination, courage, endurance, a never say die spirit and, above all, perfect teamwork.

Aaryan already has recorded his name in Mount Everest history by trekking all the way to the mountain's Southern Base Camp in Nepal situated at an altitude of 5364 metres in May 2012. He is also the youngest to climb Mt. Kalapattar (5554 mtrs) on May 15, 2012.

Reaching the base camp below Mt. Everest is considered one of the arduous tasks on earth.

The small boy added another achievement to his name when, in March 2012, he became youngest in the world to go for an up to 08 metres maiden undersea dive.

Commander Balaji, father of Aaryan, is also an avid adventurer who has been on many of India's successful expeditions in the last decade, including the one to Mt Everest, South Pole and North Pole.

BOLLYWOOD:Akki is not slowing down his releases!!!!!!

For a man who was on a roll last year with five releases, Akshay Kumar seems to be taking things slow. After Special Chabbis that released in February, his next film Once Upon A Time in Mumbai 2 is slated for a release in August. This is a huge contrast as compared to last year, which saw the actor releasing five films in a span of 10 months.
A close associate of the actor clarifies that Akki is not making a conscious effort at taking things slow. “He is not taking a break of sorts. In the months to follow, he would be almost done with Boss and the remake of Thuppakki. In all likelihood, he will also start work on a new film,” says the associate.
This should come as a respite to all Akki fans who are otherwise used to seeing their favourite star on screen with a gap not more than two to three months.

"The film is based in 1983. I have kept
references of 1980s. I have included a rush
where Mohinder Amarnath LBWed a West
Indies player (got him out on leg before
wicket) and India won the World Cup (in 1983)
. For that commentary, I have roped in Ameen
Sayani saab, Mr (Amitabh) Bachchan of radio,"
Sajid said during a group interview here.

He clarified that the film not a spoof and
would see Ajay fighting with a tiger for the
second time after 'Vijaypath'.

He even says he clapped while writing the script too!!

Thats a lot of confidence and we will look forward for audience' reaction!
